Dubbed the city’s most enviable dining destination, Bar Reyna’s Yorkville location adds a unique, convivial element to the city’s offerings. Featuring coastal inspired food and a mixology program complete with lively libations and an emphasis on the cocktail classics, Bar Reyna’s focus is on providing an overall experience to the guest.

“I wanted to create a place where anyone can come for a drink, a snack, or a full meal in an inviting atmosphere that encourages them to take a seat and stay a while,” explains owner Nicki Laborie. “At Bar Reyna, it’s about the food, drink, decor, vibe and service. In our approach, there isn’t one element that outshines the other.”

The menu consists of small plates and larger portions to share. The Cataplana, a traditional seafood dish served with lobster, shrimp, mussels, clams and monkfish in a delectable Lisbon tomato sauce is of Portuguese influence whereas the Veggie Pot with hummus, tzatziki and green olive almond tapenade is a nod to the Levant. Reyna’s French Fry menu consists of five different options. From Greek with wild oregano and shaved feta to Arabic with za’atar and homemade ketchup, the menu reads like a tour of the Mediterranean. Off the cocktail list is the signature Her Royal Highness, special crafted with rum, vodka, saffron, cardamom and rosewater syrup and served in a copper pineapple.

“The hidden gem is the back patio, since it’s not obvious that such a place exists in Yorkville,” adds Laborie. “But our guests can choose what they love best.”

Located on 158 Cumberland St., Bar Reyna is open Mondays–Fridays at 11:30 am and Saturdays and Sundays for brunch starting at 11 am. On weekdays from 4 pm–7 pm, guests can enjoy the 7 Wonders of Reyna, featuring seven drink and menu items for $7 each.
